We started WOMEN WHO LIFT in San Francisco as a way to meet new people when we moved to the city. Weightlifting has long been a part of our exercise routines and we believe that the world will be a better place if more women lift weights. Since starting 6 months ago, we've run 7 events with over 150 attendees in sunny Hayes Valley.
We are excited to continue hosting events in the city, and help build WOMEN WHO LIFT communities across the world.

In just 6 months, we've run 6 events with over 150 women across tech, design, and startups. Our community shows up with energy, curiosity, and a shared love of lifting — including local creators, fitness enthusiasts, and women building cool things.
